This Holiday season, it seems that most families want to get out of the house and what better way to do that then doing Christmas/seasonal activities. Due to COVID-19 some holiday light shows have shifted to drive through only and others are limiting the amount of crowds. Here are some fun local drive through options.
- Hometown Holiday, located at the Enumclaw Expo Center, open December 4th to December 6th from 5-9PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.enumclawexpo.com . The price is $10 per car load.
- Holiday Magic is a festive drive thru holiday experience located at the Washington State Fairgrounds, with Candy Cane Lane and a Cocoa & Coffee bar. Holiday Magic is open select nights between December 4th and January 3rd from 5-10PM. Tickets must be purchased in advance at www.thefair.com/holiday-magic, with the price being $25 per car load.
- Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park is open now through January 3rd between 5:30 and 9:00 PM. Prices are $15-20 per vehicle depending on the date. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online at www.co.pierce.wa.us/1253/Fantasy-Lights.
If your family wants something other than a drive through then two local zoo’s are having a walk through Christmas light experience.
- Zoolights at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, has 33 nights of Christmas lights now through January 3rd from 5-9 PM. Tickets are at www.pdza.org/zoolights with prices, per person, of $11 Monday-Thursday and $14 Friday-Sunday. There are also discounts for BECU and zoo members and parking is free.
- Wild Lanterns at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle is open now through January 17th from 4-8:30 PM. Prices are $28.95 for adults(13+), $23.95 for children (3-12), and Toddlers 2 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at https://shop.zoo.org.
