If you have travelled from Sumner to Bonney Lake or from Bonney Lake to Sumner on SR 410 you have driven by the restaurant on the side of Elhi Hill, Purdy’s Craft House. Purdy’s Craft House has relocated from Elhi Hill  to 17136 WA-410, Sumner, WA 98391 in the Valley and is now called Purdy’s Craft House & Arcade. Purdy’s Craft House and Arcade is a family friendly German restaurant, bar, and arcade. The arcade that it’s attached to opened around the start of quarantine in early March, so I went down to Purdy’s new location and asked a few questions about the reopening and some of the new changes happening. To open they need a confirmation with the Health Department to say that everything is ready to go. They were planning on opening at the end of November, but that could be affected by Governor Inslee announcing that indoor dining at restaurants and bars will be closed. Purdy’s craft house & arcade has Twenty-Five+ arcade games for both kids and adults. Their hours will be from 12PM to 1 AM. The menu and specials will remain the same but they will be expanding to include additional seafood, steak and more. They hope you stop by for take out or order on UberEats!
